Priest

Our Priest is Fr Churchill Chinemerem Emeghara MSSCC. Fr Churchill is a priest of the Missionaries of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. He is from Imo State, South Eastern part of Nigeria and had his priestly studies and formation in Nigeria. He was ordained a priest on 13th July 2019. After his ordination he was sent to Kumba, southern Cameroon were he served as an assistant priest for two years before he was transfered to and arrived at the diocese of Salford Uk on the 20th of February 2022. Here in the Diocese, Fr. Churchill served as the Precentor at the Cathdral for 22 months. Since then, Fr Churchill has had short spells as assistant priest at St Mary of the Angels and St. Clare Levenshulme, St. Thomas More and St. Peters Middleton and SS Aidan and Oswald Royton and St. Joseph Shaw were he served as Parish Administrator for 10 months before he was moved to our Parish of St. Anne Fairfied on the 31st of January 2025.
