CHURCH REDECORATION. Thanks to some generous donations, we have been able to restore and renew the lectern in church, decorating it to match the altar and other fittings. We have also been able to have the tabernacle doors repolished and the IHS and XP symbols enamelled in dark red. In case you are wondering, they are Greek letters and stand for the first letters of IESous XRistos. You can see some pictures in the ‘Church Redecoration’ gallery
It seems that everyone who visits our church has to remark on how beautiful and well cared for it looks. Thanks to everyone who contributes to this, through donations to the decorating fund, through weekly cleaning and polishing, through flower arranging and sacristy work and through general maintenance and care.
