Four of our younger parishioners were confirmed by Bishop John at St John Bosco, Blackley, on Tuesday evening this week. Another eighteen will be confirmed by him at St Patrick’s, Collyhurst, this Sunday afternoon. Please pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon them to strengthen and renew their faith received in Baptism. Pray also for their families and sponsors and for all those young people from our deanery and diocese who will be receiving the sacrament of Confirmation around this time.
